Linux Antiquity for Copal

Art nouveau and old star charts, put on a keyboard.

Richeson: Linux Antiquity for Copal — Systems

Summary—diinki's Linux Antiquity theme, distilled for Copal Linux: no systemd, no GPU required, and every part reachable without a mouse.

The look is entirely diinki's: art nouveau and old scientific drawing, anthropomorphised suns and moons, star charts, the four humours. This branch carries that look onto Copal Linux — stock Alpine on a Raspberry Pi, a PC or a UTM guest — and makes every part of it reachable from the keyboard.

The original theme, with its radial bar and tarot power menu, lives at diinki/linux-antiquity. The theme is MIT, and the notice travels with every copy Copal installs.

Highlights

  • An Omarchy-shaped menu: Super+Space for applications, Super+Z for system
  • Runs on llvmpipe, without a GPU
