Richeson: PDP-11 — Retrocomputing
Summary—A simulator of DEC’s 16-bit minicomputer, the machine Unix and C grew up on, built by hand on the bench.
The PDP-11 was Digital Equipment Corporation’s 16-bit minicomputer, introduced in 1970, and the machine on which Unix was rewritten in C. This one is a simulator, assembled with a soldering iron rather than bought finished.
